Today we're doing it bloggie-style. Despite the fact that I have abandoned blogger for a more journal-like format I still have various short tidbits I always want to post. Well guess what, I'm going to have my cake and eat it too. This is one long blog style compendium of completely unrelated entires. It will probably become a regular feature... unless it turns out to be completely boring. Let me know! :: ::: In China, AD 1047, there was a peasant rebellion comprised of vegetarian Buddhists. They were looking for equality for the high and low, the rich and poor. Picturing peaceful sit ins? Nope. They bloodily massacred all of the elite they could get their hands on, marching through the ZheJiang province and conquering its major city. Lesson here: Beware the vegetarians. :: ::: Anyone else remember googlism.com? As part of the recent obsession I pluged in "twat." My favorite, "twat is prince charming from snow white." Really? Damn, I've been reading the wrong fairytales all these years. :: ::: I am seriously contemplating taking an axe to my printer. Tuesday it ran out of black ink. Fine. I put a new cartridge in, printed off my paper. Yippie skippy, don't have to think about that for another six months! Wrong. Wednesday, while trying to print some pictures, I discovered that my brand spanking new, it worked just fine yesterday, black ink cartridge has decided that it has no more ink to give. The printer recognizes the cartridge, knows that it is there and full, and thinks its printing but nothing will actually turn up on the paper. So today I turned in an essay typed entirely in midnight blue. I considered making the header orange for some variety but I thought that might not go over too well with my TA. :: ::: Dirty Milton update #2: Hee hee. "nether flood." Hee. :: ::: I am incredibly upset that I can't find any information about this years Eco-Challenge anywhere. Usually it airs on USA around this time of year.
