So, I'm not like, dead or anything, although it has kind of felt like it at times there. See, my hard drive is dead and for me, computer = life so, hard drive dead = Anne dead, at least a little, somewhere deep down in my soul.

I'm especially upset because I had this whole follow up entry about my Fourth of July weekend and the truely scary amounts of food Megan and I consumed in less than two days all typed up and sitting in my works files. I can't post it when I get the computer back because it would just be silly and out of place. It'll just have to be the lost entry. When I'm dead and they publish a cxompendia of my writing (HAH! Oh, I can't even type that with a straight face) some scholar can write an essay on the "Lost entry of 04" and my motivation for blah blah blah... Or perhaps I've just been studying Lit theory for too long ... anyway...

I still do not have a computer, in fact. I am currently sitting on my roommate's bed, craftily sneaking onto her computer while she is toiling dilligently at her job. Heh Heh.

The hard drive should be back from my parents (where my Dad is doing lord only knows what to it) in a few days so, until then, here's a slapdash, random entry; my specialty.

Things I might have blogged abo0ut:

*I missed the first episode of The Amazing Race last tuesday. Missed it. When I have been looking forward to this season for months. I was working and forgot to set the VCR. Moron. I was inconsolable until the TWoP recap went up.

* The planning of a Road Trip (you have to imagine this uttered in drunken frat boy tones for full effect) with stops at Disneyland and Tiajuana is underway. Obviously, the journey will be rather eclectic. I figure that typing it here makes it more likely to actually happen. The internet will hold me accountable.

* I finally saw Butterfly Effect, Mystic River, and House of Sand and Fog, all of which I have been meaning to see for ridiculously long amounts of time, considering that I work at a video store. Really liked them all. Does anyone who has seen Butterfly effect want to discuss Theatrical vs. Directors cut with me? I'm full of opinions but no one out here is interested.

* My roommates watch a scary amount of home improvement television. On one landmark day Saara was in the living room watching TLC for upwards of 6 hours. Don't you think this is possibly unhealthy? I only got her to turn it off when What Not To Wear came on.

Update: The hard drive will be back tomorrow. My parents (bless their souls) are overnight FedExing it. Feel free to imagine an angelic chourus busting out in the background here.

See you all soon! Muahahaha....

The fact that I just walked upstairs and saw one of my new housemates standing on her desk chair slowly revolving in circles for no apparent reason.
